The Strikers

Last weekend Luke had a brutal soccer game. Not only did he attend Kai's game first, from there he headed to line to wait for team pictures, and then in 106 degree heat he played 4 on 4! Needless to say, there is an awful lot of running with so few kids on the field. He is #8. He took one in "guts" as Bill would call it (playing goalie), suffered a quad injury when the ball went one way with his foot attached while his other leg stayed in place, and even managed to throw in a few strategies (that he really isn't qualified for) to boot! Needless to say, we were thankful to head home where we all promptly jumped into the pool!
