Christmas Day

Christmas day was spent with my side of the family coming over to our house for a turkey dinner. We are so thankful that Auntie Eryn can take such great pictures of our family and all the kiddos! Even though it was a little chilly the rain had finally stopped so they were all able to head outside to play. Thank you again to Grammy and Papa for buying both sets of families a Wii. The kids were beyond ecstatic! It was a wonderful day.

Christmas Morning at Home

Well as you can see by the evidence below Santa did indeed find his way to our house! I made Luke wait to go out into the living room until Kai woke up this year. It was torture. I figure my time is limited where they will be sneaking out during the wee hours in the morning in the next few years so I still wanted to catch it on video. They didn't seem too excited at first about the chairs (did I mention they DID NOT REQUEST THEM), but they absolutely love to be in them now! Thank goodness! The best memory this year was when Luke asked if we could get a balloon and tie it to a gift to send up to Jesus for his birthday!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at Jean's house with Bill's side of the family. We had a great prime rib dinner and the boys really enjoyed playing with each other and Auntie Corinne's dogs! Thank you Jean for the wonderful Christmas pjs!

Early in the day Kai played blocks with Mimi

Luke and Uncle Scott (he enjoyed playing on the iPhone!)

Naughty or nice? Ummm......NAUGHTY!

See where Nestle Quik chocolate powder mix got me? All I was trying to do is take a shower and these two little men proudly showed up in my room looking like this....Ugh. It's not even 9am!

Ice skating (for the first time) for the boys.

Bill called me on my way home from work today to tell me we were going to the ice rink with Auntie Eryn for open skate. The boys were very excited. Initially, Kai was scared and got right back off the ice, but before long he was going on rounds around the rink with either Bill or Eryn. Luke skated most of the time. He really enjoyed it. He had a few falls, but not too many. No tears thankfully. Bill and I took Eryn ice skating for her first time when she was in elementary school so it was perfect she was there to do it with our boys. We sure love her!
