Happy Halloween

Loved this guy! He came right up to Luke and told him,
"Together they were going to save the world!"
On our way home....with Kai shoving candy
into his mouth as fast as he can!

Last day of soccer

Luke had a great time playing soccer this year. He was much more aggressive than we thought he would be! We really enjoyed supporting and rooting him on each week!

Croup.....again

Well....getting our tonsils out did not help our cause. Kai ended up with croup a mere 3 weeks later. We actually had to take a trip to the ER this time around in the middle of the night. No fun. He's a great patient though! A breathing treatment and some steroids seemed to help out...like always. Hope he grows out of this soon!

My Fall

Most of you know that I stepped down off of a chair in my classroom and hurt myself on Oct. 8th. It was a horrible accident. My left ankle rolled and I fell to my right where I put my hand down to brace the fall. I can't even begin to tell you how crazy it is to see your body disfigured. Thank goodness Ali was near by! 911 came and off I went to the ER to get my wrist splinted. About 4 days later I had surgery on my wrist. It was dislocated and broken in 5 places. I received a metal plate and pins. That was 2 weeks ago today. I was very thankful to change my cast today and get my stitches out. This is a VERY SLOW HEALING process. It hurts pretty much all the time still, just less severe of pain. I miss my girlfriends at school. I REALLY AM THANKFUL EVERYTHING WAS FIXABLE AND I AM ALSO SO THANKFUL FOR ALL THE AMAZING HELP I HAVE HAD. From my classroom, to meals, to helping me personally, to taking my kids to where they need to be.....THANK YOU!! My next doctor visit isn't until Thanksgiving so hopefully we will continue to have more good news!

Grandfriend's Day @ Preschool

My mom went to Luke's new class this year for Grandfriend's Day. He was so excited to have her there to show around and to sing specially prepared songs to. My mom called me after and said she had been crying. Glad they love each other so much! Little did my mom know that she sould be driving back to Corona that same afternoon to put on her "Mom" hat for me in the ER!

Friends

Today we had a school wide outdoor event to celebrate our school's 910 API. The kids had so much fun, but it sure was hot! This is myself, Kim, and Ali. Tracy and Karen were still in other locations with their classes. We sure do love our team!

Please come over for dinner.....

So the other night we invited the Dunbars over to have pasta and salad. The boys haven't gotten as much play time together these days.....and I need my girl time with Irene! Little did they know as soon as they ate and we started to clean up I would clog up and break the garbage disposal! This little fix cost $106! Thank goodness I have a husband that can fix it and a little boy that is hopefully taking notes to help me when we are old!!! Leftovers anyone???
