Last weekend we headed out to visit our cousins! The boys were beyond excited. With no agenda in hand we ended up having a great day - even with no naps! Coincidentally it was Josh's 2nd birthday this week so we headed off to pizza to celebrate. From there we headed home to play in the sprinklers, catch frogs, and run wild. My kids carried playing cards around for 2 solid days afterwards playing card tricks on everyone! They loved what Austin had showed them how to do. I love how these children do not need anything but each other to have happy times together. It's so heartwarming and family means the world to me.

Mother's Day
This past weekend I received so many kind and thoughtful treats from my children and family. I loved more than anything their BIG SMILES when they gave them to me! That was the TRUE GIFT. Kai's flower was made from his fingerprint, the bracelet was a gift from my mom and Bill, and the note was written to me from Luke. It was great to go to his Mom & Muffins activity in his classroom. After we wrapped up a few things we headed down to a relaxing time at the beach in the trailer. We were having so much fun with our friends we decided to not even come home until 7pm Sunday night! That's unheard of for us!

Scottsdale
Last weekend Bill had drill, so I took the boys out my parent's place. My cousin Heidi and her husband Jeff were visiting from Indiana. I just love them; Heidi cracks me up! I was in their wedding 24 years ago! I remember going to her house for a month in between 5th and 6th grade. That was when I was introduced into Madonna's music. lol.
Anyway, we headed out to a country restaurant that served food, had a live band, and ended the evening with a rodeo! Food; not so good. Pool; boys loved having Jeff show them how it's done. Rodeo; really cool atmosphere, but a little scary watching it live! It was great however to be with family. The next day my dad and Jeff took the boy's fishing for the the 1st time. They both caught a fish - thank goodness! I just loved that someone else, who loves them, showed them something I and Bill don't do. Overall a wonderful weekend.
