Luke had his preschool Christmas Production at school last week. We were a little nervous as we thought that he actually wouldn't perform let alone stay with his class. He usually tends to shy away and hang on my leg during these kinds of moments. We invited our great friends the Dunbars and the Spatz family along with our Grammy, Mimi, Auntie Eryn, Big Aaron, and of course his cousin Bobbies (Bradley.) He did great! Afterwards everyone came over for some ice cream. It was a fun little night.

Our visit with friends to Santa's House
For the past 3 years I have taken the boys to visit Santa on the first Monday after Thanksgiving at his home in Orange, CA. It is a wonderful family that has Santa, trains, face painting, treats and drinks, and even carolers. We try to be the first ones there each year....anticipating melt down. I was pleasantly surprised this year when both boys happily sat with him. A few quick snaps and we were on our way to enjoy the rest of our visit. I try each year to include and tell more friends to come join us. This year we had our second cousins Bradley and Matthew, our best buds (who we spend a lot of time with) Matthew and Logan, and our newest little boy to the group is Kayden! He will grow up fast around all these guys!

Glue Sticks and Scissors
A couple of weeks ago Auntie Eryn made snowflakes with Luke for our front window. Ever since then he has asked me to bring him some glue and scissors. He says he needs them for crafts. I brought them home yesterday and this is the result! Within a few shorts minutes of giving him the glue he told me that his feet were sticking to the ground. What! That is NOT where the glue goes nor is that the purpose. We chatted about how he needed to keep these supplies away from Kai, etc. A few hours go by and my mom and I head out to Target for a quick stop. When I got home I tucked Luke into bed and noticed his hair. He completely cut a triangle out of his bangs! I asked him if he did that and he said no Kai did. That is a whole other lesson in itself! I took a few pictures and left Grammy to do the "speech." lol. Good thing we spike our hair. It wasn't really that noticeable this morning when he got ready for preschool.
Football Game
While Daddy was at work I took the boys to one of my student's football games this past weekend. We had a great time. I miss eating nachos with chili and cheese. Everyone keeps reminding me that in a few short years sports will rule our weekend schedules too! For now it was nice to pop on over even though we only made it to the top of the 4th quarter. 1 pm arrived and melt down occurred!
