Today Luke got Student of the Month for Fluency at school. I think he realized what was happening once he saw Daddy in uniform in the crowd! He was very excited to be recognized. We are very proud of the young man and student he has become. I can't believe he is almost 7. Sniff sniff. Way to go Lukie. We love you!

Corona's Tree Lighting Ceremony
Last minute today we decided to head over to Corona's City Hall for their tree lighting ceremony. It is the first time we have been and the boys had a great time. Of course it ALWAYS helps when COUSINS are there too! They were able to make a couple of ornament crafts, have refreshments, go on a train ride, and visit with Santa. I have to tell you though, while the boys were running around like crazy playing tag I felt like I was standing in Black Friday lines again to check out. Lol.

Veteran's Day
Today is Veteran's Day. God bless our troops. We headed off to Knott's Berry Farm to participate in their generosity towards the troops. We were able to actually get in free! The boys had a BLAST with their cousins. Due to Claire no longer babysitting and the older boys being in school full-time they simply don't get to spend enough time together. Kai chose (like normal) to not really ride many rides. He is more of an observer rather than a participant. Doesn't that sound like Daddy and Papa Gilbert!?! Lol. And Matty wished he was just a little bit bigger to go on more rides himself. A beautiful day.
